About Us...

The Center for Humane Living teaches confidence in resolving conflict, respect, building character, and the understanding and creation of peace. Teaching is dedicated to the highest purpose of the martial arts -- mentally resolving conflict in human relationships, thereby eleminating the need for physical force.  At each level of training, students will be expected to demonstrate their understanding of these concepts along with their proficiency with physical techniques. To complement the "mental martial arts" training, students will be taught the physical art of Tang Soo Do.  The relationships and applications of the physical and mental sides of the art will be emphasized and practiced.  The Center for Humane Living is currently holding classes in Phoenix, Paradise Valley, and Ahwatukee, Arizona. The Center for Humane Living welcomes students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
